Centrifugal Concentrator Pre-Use Inspection

Prior to each operation of the water-jacketed centrifugal concentrator, a comprehensive and meticulous visual inspection must be performed. Examine the centrifugal concentrator housing for any obvious damage or deformation, and ensure all components are securely fastened. Pay particular attention to the connection between the rotor and the main body, verifying there are no signs of looseness. A loose connection could lead to rotor wobble during operation, compromising centrifugation performance and potentially causing a safety incident.

Inspection of the water jacket system is equally critical. Verify that the inlet and outlet water lines are properly connected and well-sealed, with no potential for leakage. Gently squeeze the tubing to check for any water seepage. Leaks can not only disrupt the centrifugal concentrator's normal operation but also damage surrounding equipment and the environment. Additionally, check the water level inside the jacket to ensure it is within the normal operating range. A level that is too low may impair the cooling function of the jacket, while an excessively high level could lead to overflow during operation.

The electrical system inspection is also essential. Inspect the power cord for any damage and ensure the plug is securely connected to the outlet. Examine the centrifugal concentrator control panel to confirm all buttons and the display are functioning correctly. Power on the centrifugal concentrator and observe whether the display illuminates properly and if the function buttons respond as intended. If any issues are detected with the electrical system, the centrifugal concentrator must not be used under any circumstances. Contact qualified maintenance personnel promptly for repair.
